How long do I need to stay in the clinic before returning home?
Its required to stay in our Recovery Boutique at least 6 days after.
Will I have drains after surgery?
Yes, you will have 2, one on each side of the face/neck.
When are the drains removed?
Drains are removed 48-72 hours post surgery depending how much the patient is draining at this time.
When will my first follow up be?
The first follow up will be when drains are removed.
Another follow up will be 7 – 10 days later.
We will recommend a third follow up, date will be set by the assigned Doctor.
Can I remove stitches back home?
We understand that patients may not stay that long with us, however we encourage you to come back so the Doctor can do a follow up and remove stitches him or herself.
If you’re coming from far and you’re deciding to go home and recover there, you can talk to your primary care physician or a registered nurse to help you remove (always follow up with us via email so we can keep track of your recovery and help with any questions!)

Do you offer transportation ?
Yes we do. Because of the current situation with COVID-19, our transportation is from our side of the border to our clinic and back, included with your surgery.

We have it all under one roof, for your stay, we offer our Recovery Boutique, an exclusive area for our patients to recover after surgery, It includes nurse care 24/7, hospital beds, breakfast, lunch, and dinner with snacks, cable, unlimited phone calls to the US.
Can someone stay with me?
Yes, you may have one companion during your time in our Recovery Boutique at an additional cost, Remember to review pricing and restrictions with our Recovery Boutique to ensure a great experience.
What is the average cost for a Face and Neck Lift?
It’s important to consider that an evaluation is needed to provide an accurate cost.
An average cost including anesthesia, operating room and Surgeon fees, could range from $6500 up to $7000 USD.
Do you offer packages?
Yes, we offer different kinds of packages depending on the type of surgery the patient will do, this to help with all the planning and logistics, forget about having to do it all by yourself, its all in one so it will keep your mind at ease and save you money.

Is the facelift / necklift scar visible?
The technique performed by Dr Quiroz ensures minimal scaring, during the healing the scar will be easily hidden within hair, it may take 6 months to a year for surgery to be completely healed and show as a small, thin scar.
Do you use general anesthesia?
No, we use a twilight sedation with local anesthetic.
What happens in case of emergency during surgery in Tijuana? Is your facility prepared & where do you take me ?
In case of emergency, the Doctor will decide the next steps. First will be to bring a specialist in to see you. If they decide to bring you to a hospital, transportation will be arranged as well if your family member decides on your behalf to take you back to US for further treatment.
Do you accept insurance?
No, most plastic surgeries are not covered by insurance, however, we offer the option of financing from different companies in the US & Canada.
Can I have surgery if I’m HIV positive?
The answer is yes, however before your procedure, we require that you get clearance from your primary care physician. We’ll need:

- Lab panels where it shows that you are being treated, undetected and at normal levels to perform surgery. Remember, labs will be performed again in the clinic before surgery as it is required by law.
- Provide the medications currently being used.
- Physical proof of medical clearance.
